About JCK Training

JCK Training has been a key provider of learning solutions to the health and social care sector since 1998.

With a firm clinical background in forensic mental health and learning disability we specialise in some of the more 'niche' areas of health and social care training, but have gradually expanded our portfolio to reflect the ever growing needs of the NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, charities and supported housing providers we have worked with over the last fifteen years.

Our Trainers

Small Group

JCK Training was set up by former mental health nurse Connor Kinsella and his wife Caroline. Connor is Lead Trainer with JCK and continues to run most of our courses.

Associate Trainer Brian Daly also provides specialist input to our portfolio with expertise in Challenging Behaviour, Dementia and the Mental Capaity Act.

And joining our small but exclusive group is Deborah Somerset-Malia who specialises in all matters Safeguarding and will be representing JCK Training in the more northern reaches of social care.

We'll be expanding our team of trainers over the course of 2013, making our services even more accessible, more affordable and more specific to the learning and development needs of our health and social care clients.

What we Do

Right from Day One we've always believed in working closely with clients to design courses that really work for their staff and service users. Whether it's a prison, hospital or care home, every organisation has different needs. Different service users, different circumstances, different services, different demands. So as well as continuing to offer our well established in-house courses we can also work with you to:

  1. Develop highly flexible course materials and In-House Training programmes specifically tailored to your needs

  2. Work with you and your colleagues to conduct leaning needs analyses. We'll spend 'hands-on' time with staff and can really get to grips with how to best meet the training needs of your organisation, your staff and the service users with whom they work

  3. Provide a range of professional, tailor-made Train the Trainer programmes to help organisations provide their own courses and make learning and development a truly cost-effective, locally-focussed and flexible process

  4. Deliver short, intensive and highly flexible Bite Size chunks of learning for front-line staff

  5. Design Training Packs specially adapted for particular services and client groups for delivery by an in-house trainer or senior member of staff

Costs

No two projects are ever the same. But having spoken to you and ascertained your exact needs we will provide a guaranteed, no-obligation quotation for a project. If you're happy with our fees and terms, we'll confirm with you in writing and will guarantee that quotation for 3 months should you wish to arrange dates, staff cover etc.

Your quotation will include all expenses such as travel, accommodation, training materials and (if required) Certificates of Attendance.

We'll submit a 30-day invoice on successful completion of the work, and can guarantee that all costs will be highly competitive with other training consultancies. An email or phone call will cost you absolutely nothing, so why not get in touch or send us a contact form (below)? We'd love to hear from you!
